Dear Patient,
In the following you will find information pertaining to the collecting and processing of personal data for users of our internet page. The person-related data include all information that can be gathered about your person via the internet (name, address, e-mail address, user behavior and IP address).

3) Which kind of personal data do we collect and process?

We collect, process, transfer and delete the following personal information:

  • Information pertaining to interested parties and patients in our internet page;
  • Information pertaining to other natural people, who have been in contact with our internet page (authorized representatives of patients, employees of legal entities, visitors to our website).

Personal data will be collected, when you send us an E-Mail or call us in the dental office to reserve an appointment for treatment.

We process the following personal data:

  • Personal information  (your first and last name, your address, your date of birth, your place of birth, your E-Mail address, your telephone number, and information pertaining to your insurance coverage);
  • Personal information pertaining your online behavior and preferences (your IP address, reliable classification characteristics of mobile devices, information pertaining to your visit to our internet page and information pertaining to terminal devices used to contact our internet page);

Personal data pertaining to children will only then be collected and processed, when the child is brought to us as a patient by his or her parents or legal guardian.

People under 18 years of age should not be transferring personal data to us without first obtaining permission from their parents or legal guardians. We do not request any personal data from persons under18 years of age (children and adolescents).We do not knowingly collect such data and do not transmit such data to third parties. At the same time we want to inform you that a
technical device for the protection of transmission of personal data through minors does not exist in our internet page.

4) Who receives your personal data?

If individual features of our internet page are forwarded to service providers commissioned from our dental office, you will be informed about the process in the 5th and following paragraph. You will also be informed about the determined criteria of the storage period of these features.

5) For what purpose is your personal data required and with which justification are we per Law allowed to process your personal data?

If you use our internet page only to gather information about our dental office, then only personal data will be collected from your browser and given to our server for processing. When you visit our Website, the following data must be collected and processed in order to guaranty stability and safety (the legal basis is written in article 6, paragraph 1, first sentence, lit. f GDPR).

If you contact us through our contact form in Internet (to reserve an appointment in the Office or in order to send us a question), the following Information that you give us may be processed:

  • your e-mail address,
  • your name,
  • your telephone number

in order to give you an appointment or in order to answer your question. After your request has been processed and answered, the information that you have
given us will be erased or limited and saved according to and based upon the laws of legalobligation (article 6, paragraph 1, first sentence GDPR).

To offer you medical treatment in our dental office and for the invoicing of your treatment, we need to have access to and the right to process your personal and general health data. The legal right of processing this informationis necessary:

  • to fulfill the contract of governing medical treatment (article 6, paragraph 1, first sentence, lit. b, GDPR)
  • ,in order to carry out statutory requirements and documentation obligations (article 6, paragraph 1, first sentence, lit. c, GDPR) ,
  • for the right of the implementation to file a claim (article 6, parargraph 1, first sentence, lit. f, GDPR) after your treatment.

The personal and general health acquired through your treatment in our dental office will be saved in accordance with the legal requirements of the “Patientenrechtegesetz – BGB” (german law and official regulationson patient richts), the “Berufsordnung” (professional Code) and the “Abgabeordnung für Steuer”(german fiscal code for taxes) for at least 10 years.
The preservation of evidence in case of legal conflict in according to the statute of limitations is possible for the extent of 30 years, even though the normal statute of limitations is for the extent of 3 years, this can be prolonged through the statutory requirements and documentation obligations.

To be able to contact you in case of changes in your appointment, in case of cancelation of appointments or to be able to remind you of coming appointments (recall) we need to have access to and the right to process your personal data (your e-mail address, your name, your telephone and your address) according to and based upon the laws of legal obligation (article 6, paragraph 1, lit. a, GDPR). For this purpose we need to have your consent, we would like to point out that you will be able to revoke your consent or agreement to further processing of your data at any time according to and based upon the laws of legal obligation (Artikel 7, Paragraph 3, GDPR).

6. What rights do you havein conjunction with and according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?

Your rights in conjunction with and according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are as follows:

  • the right of disclosure
  • the right of correction or deletion
  • the right of limitation of the processing of your data
  • the right to lodge an objection to the processing of your data
  • the right of data portability
